"Tyson, the Skateboarding Bulldog, is One Focused Dog" By Bobbi McKenna.

A few weeks ago I ran into an old buddy on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, or rather I should say that I saw an old buddy zip by on his skateboard.  It was the world famous Tyson, the Skateboarding French Bulldog.  I first met Tyson in Huntington Beach when I ran (or walked fast) every morning.  Even after I moved away from Huntington Beach, I would think about Tyson from time to time, and smile.  As an author, I am very impressed that Tyson had been on the Oprah Show.

As you head into summer, take a minute to watch Tyson skate on YouTube, and see what you can learn from him about staying focused enough to enjoy life on a sunny afternoon.

Tyson in his own doggy words:

"I am a skater, who just happens to be a dog. For me, skateboarding is not a trick, but a lifestyle, no treats necessary. I have been skating since I was a puppy and have been featured in TV shows in Japan, South Korea, Australia and the USA. I have done a TV commercial for Nikon in Japan, been featured at LG's 2004 Action Sport Championships at Pomona, Ca., skated in the 2005 Sony Picture 'Lords of Dogtown,' and the Lion’s Gate film 'Undiscovered.' I also have been featured on 'American Idol,' and have even appeared on the Oprah Show with Oprah."
