What You Need To Know If You Want To
Live Longer and Healthier.
The only life style choice that has ever been proven to “slow the aging process” is caloric restriction. In everyday language that means eat less!
As far back as the 1930’s, studies showed the positive effect of lower calorie diets on mice, and now a 20-year-long study has been published that showed that cancerous tumors and cardiovascular disease among monkeys on calorie-restricted diets were fifty per cent lower than in monkeys whose food intake was not restricted.
Consistent smaller portions can add years to your life. Being overweight can also be hard on your knees and hips, and it can lead to diseases like Type II Diabetes.

Recommendations: Buy an accurate digital scale, a small notebook, and a calorie chart. Write down everything you eat (and how many calories are in it) in your notebook. (When you are starting to get control of your weight and your diet, don’t eat anything if you don’t know its caloric content!) Does the beef hot dog or the typical white flour bun have more calories? You’d be surprised how many people don’t know the correct answer to this question.
